Cool FireFox Extensions - Part 1

There are some awesome FireFox Extensions out there. Here are some that I’ve tested and really like.

Gmail Space
This extension allows you to use your Gmail Space (2.7+ GB) for file storage. It acts as a remote machine. You can transfer files between your hard drive and gmail. This is similar to “Gmail Drive” on windows platform. Your gmail account looks like a FTP host and you can upload and download your files. After you install, you get an option called “GSpace” in your “tools” menu clicking on which opens the window for transfer of files/folders.

FireFTP
FireFTP is a free, secure, cross-platform FTP client for Mozilla Firefox which provides easy and intuitive access to FTP servers.

Pix2Fone
Save pictures from internet or your computer as wallpapers on your mobile phone. Supported image file formats: JPG, non-animated GIF, PNG, BMP. You can also use the extension to upload MP3 audio files to your phone.

SearchPluginHacks
Allows uninstalling search plugins - just right click on a search plugin and choose ‘Delete’.
