- You might not realize it, but Google tracks user behavioral data for use in search engine rankings. Why else would they give away powerful analytics tools for free? Oh, yeah, they own FeedBurner now too…more data for Google. UPDATE: Randy at 1stsearchenginerankings.com has done a great experiment on Google’s use of data from Google Analytics.

- Get some free backlinks while getting your site banned in Google.

BTW the news on Google buying FeedBurner was news to me. Interesting, as you say “just more data for Google”.
I am actually surprised Yahoo didn’t get to it first, seems like that would be a nice addition to MyblogLog and they seem to love those types of sites :P
