Awesome Linkbait: How Many 5 Year Olds…

by Scott Allen

Recently a friend sent me a hilarious site to check out through StumbleUpon. This is definitely worth a post and a link, because it is a great example of linkbait.

The site is called “How Many Five Year Olds Could You Take In a Fight?” and the idea goes something like this: You’re surrounded by a seemingly endless swarm of angry 5 year olds trained in martial arts…

You answer a number of questions to determine how well you could fight them off. Don’t be appalled by the idea of fighting young’uns — just take it for the humorous linkbait it is. It’s great linkbait because it’s funny, off-beat, and you get a badge to show off your score on your website, with a built-in link to the targeted site. What’s not to like about it? When coming up with linkbait ideas for your site, try to be this creative. :)

So how many 5 year olds could I take on? Apparently 28. Here’s my badge to prove it.

28

So how many 5 year olds can YOU take on?
